Exporting
Data From TC2000 V4 into TC2000 V3.
Exporting data from TeleChart 2000( version 4.0 to
version 3.x format.
If you have version 3.x of TC2000(, you can export
version 4.x data to the 3.x data format. This allows
you to run Easyscan and then import your results back
into version 4.x using TC2000Transfer.exe.
Create a directory on your hard drive where the exported
data will be stored. This is also the same directory
youÆll need to set your version 3.x Data Path Setting
to so the program will know where to find the data.
Click Databank | Export to File(s) to launch the Data
Export Utility. Choose the list you want to export
(program will default to the active Chart List). Click
the Preset Configurations pulldown and select TC2000
version 3.x. Use the scroll bar to select the number
of days you want to export (250 days = 1 year). Choose
the hard drive and the folder where you want the files
saved. In the graphic below you can see that we have
created a folder named EXPORT in our TC2000 (version
3.x) directory. Now click the Export button to begin
the export process.
Once the export is complete, run TC2000 version 3.x.
Change the Data Path Setting in version 3.x to your
export directory. Then open the WatchList Organizer
from the Main Menu by pressing F1. This will initialize
the new data and you can now run Easyscan.
