Installing
the PFP for Omega Product.
First, unzip the program files that are sent
to you by e-mail or by mail into a directory
on your harddrive named USERDLL. To accomplish
this, use the Windows Explorer, the FileManager
or DOS to create the directory. The DOS command
is MD\USERDLL . Now unzip the program
files into this directory.
The following are the steps to use the Candlestick
Forecaster for Tradestation and SuperCharts
after it's been installed:
1) Have a chart which you wish to analyze
displayed in the active window and click on
the Insert selection on the menu bar.
2) Click on Analysis Techniques or press the
F7 key and the Insert Analysis Techniques
dialogue box will be displayed.
3) Click on the Indicators tab and scroll
down to csf.Commentary and select it.
4) Select the Plot button which will bring
you back to the chart.
5) Select the Expert Commentary icon button
(capital E with an arrow). The cursor will
now have a capital E next the cursor arrow.
6) Click on a bar that you wish to analyze.
The Expert Commentary for Analysis Techniques
window will be displayed with the analysis.
7) To analyze another bar, close the Expert
Commentary window and select the Expert Commentary
icon again, then select another bar.
At this point, the program should be up-n-running
for you within your Omega product. If you
