General
GPF errors or if the CSF program will not load
a chart.
Note: Whenever you see A:, B:, C: or D: within
this text, A: and B: represent your possible floppy
drives within your computer and C: and D: represent
your possible hard disks within your computer.
If you only have one (1) floppy drive, it is the
first drive in your computer and considered A:
- your hard disk would then be considered C:.
A: and B: can be switched in any example below
to meet the needs of your computer system.
C: and D: can be switched in any example below
to meet the needs of your computer system.

General GPF Errors while trying to load a chart
for the first time.
----------
These errors are caused because the technical,
display, analysis and directory setting of the
program are not set. Sometimes the installation
program will not properly install the *.CPG (configuration)
file properly and you will have to set these before
the program will operate properly. To resolve
this error:
1. Start the Candlestick Forecaster (WIN) program,
or go to it if it is currently loaded and running.
2. Press CTRL-D to bring up the CSF Settings Screen.
3. Set each of the individual tabs (top of the
window) properly.
Tech settings:
MA1 = 3 and Close MA2 = 7 and Close
STO%K = 7 STO%D = 3 Smoothing = 3
RMI Lookback = 20 RMI Y opt = 5
RSI = 14 Will %R = 14
MACD1 = 5 MACD2 = 15 MACD3 = 5
Bollinger Bands = 20
CCI = not used yet.
Chart Settings:
Number Of Bars : Click the DEFAULT BARS button.
Chart Color = White
Empty Candle Color = White or Red
Filled Candle Color = Black
Doji Candle Color = Brt. Blue
Pointer Color = Green
Grids: On Horz and Vert with a DOT setting in
BLACK
Analysis Options:
All libraries on!
Directory Settings:
You should know how to set these on your own.
Use the file type window (Bottom Right) to select
the type of files to load. Then use the directory
list box to select the proper directory for the
data files. You're done.
-------------> DON"T FORGET THIS ONE!!!!!
Click on the DEFAULT checkbox below the OK and
CANCEL buttons. Then click the OK button.
Now, close the CSF program and restart it again
(exit the program and start it over again). This
should solve your problems.
