The Pattern Forecaster Plus V2.0x
By the Co-Developer of the Candlestick Forecaster

Now we'll review "How to Use" the advanced trading libraries and technical indicator setting within the PFP program so you can really begin to see the benefits of the PFP program.

First, keep in mind that users have complete control over these features. So lets say that you wanted to trade on a long-term basis and were only interested in one or two of the specialized trading libraries. You would simply set the technical indicators to long-term (a few simply mouse clicks), then enable only the specialized libraries you were interested in (again only a few simple mouse clicks). You are done. You've just setup the PFP program to look only for long-term trading signals using only the libraries you've selected.

Next, lets assume you were interested in only the candlestick trading signals. You would simply disable all the libraries except the candlestick libraries and you are ready to go. See how simple this is?

Now, sometimes people don't understand that the PFP program actually teaches you to recognize and trade using any of the advanced trading libraries. Most of the time, the best way to learn is to use the interactive pattern recognition system (by double-clicking on the candles within a chart). This feature uses a "flash-card" type teaching method to illustrate the patterns and teach users what they mean and how to trade with them. The best advice I can give anyone using the PFP programs is to spend a good amount of time double-clicking on candles within charts. The best way to learn is to pick a candle on a chart (near a previous top or bottom) and begin double-clicking on every candle as they move forward (to the right) on the chart. This method actually teaches the user what to expect from the analysis fo the PFP program and starts to get them familliar with the analysis libraries and trading signals.

Remember, you can enable or disable specific trading libraries at will. So, if you wanted to learn only one library at a time, simply enable only one library at a time as you go through the chart double-clicking on candles. This is a great way to identify which trading libraries are effective for your type of trading and to learn how the PFP program operates.

The reason we decided to put this information here is because we wanted people to see how they could customize the PFP program's analysis to meet their needs. Also, we wanted to emphasize the teaching abilities of the PFP program. Some users have commented that they have spent hundreds (even thousands) on books, videos and other means of educating themselves. The PFP program can accomplish this task for far less and continue to provide detailed trading signals automatically.
