Matheny Enterprises was founded in 1997, after Brad
Matheny left International Pacific Trading Company (IPTC).
Brad Matheny, while at IPTC, created "The Candlestick
Forecaster" (CSF) software products beginning in
1989. The CSF software products quickly became a hit
with traders because of it's uncanny ability to identify
Japanese Candlestick patterns and provide detailed "timely"
analysis. Over the next 8 years, the CSF products won
a number of awards and were distributed world-wide.
While
at IPTC, Brad Matheny became an "international
Candlestick expert" and was invited to speak at
numerous events. Mr. Matheny also co-authored "Trading
Applications of Japanese Candlestick Charting",
published by John Wiley & Sons, NY.
When
Mr. Matheny started Matheny Enterprises, he focused
on improving the products and developing a web-based
solution for traders. The intent was to cut out the
"extra costs" of running a business and provide
the best solutions possible. So, Matheny Enterprises
was born to offer the same great products, but at reduced
costs.
Mr.
Matheny changed the name of the CSF products to "Pattern
Forecaster Plus" and begin marketing these revised
products to traders. They still offered the same great
market analysis and other new features, but the prices
were dramatically reduced. Today, the PFP software applications
are still used world-wide and include many great features.
In fact, Mr. Matheny uses them daily for trading signals.
In
2001, Mr. Matheny launched a number of new products
and services. First, he launched the "CandleWatch
Reports" service - delivering all the signals the
PFP programs. This service was designed to provide traders
with the "important information" they needed
without the hastle of downloading data and doing the
analysis on their own.
Later
in 2001, Mr. Matheny began supporting eSignal and developing
products to support their application. Today, Mr. Matheny
continues to develop applications for esignal and support
their users. Part of this support is to provide "custom
programming" services for clients who need this
service.
As
of now, Mr. Matheny is exploring other trading applications
and building Matheny Enterprises into a feature-rich
site with tools, utilities, services and products for
